Workshop

Second Skin Objects

Saturday 6th of June

In this hands-on workshop, participants transform small everyday objects — a key, coin, screw, or toy — into sculptural forms using layered paper and eco-friendly plant-based glue. By wrapping familiar items in tissue paper, recycled paper, and packaging scraps, they build a lightweight "second skin" that both resembles and reimagines the original form, exploring how materials and context can shift the meaning of a thing.

Finished pieces are delicate sculptural objects that preserve traces of their original function while taking on a new identity. All materials provided; participants are welcome to take their work home. You can bring your object to cast.
