Accessibility

Visitors with disabilities are very welcome. We are in a Grade II listed, 18th-century building, so access to the Studios and Gallery isn't always straightforward. Our primary business is studio space provision, where we have 6 accessible spaces with an accessible WC.

Steam Works gallery is on the 1st Floor and we currently do not have a lift.

When planning your visit, it might be useful to know the following:

  • The building has some uneven flooring

  • Some areas are narrow

  • The gallery space is on the 1st Floor and we currently do not have lifts

Please get in touch before your visit and we’ll do everything we can to make sure you have a positive experience. email info@wipspace.co.uk

Physically disabled visitors

We unfortunately at this time cannot offer step free access to our Gallery space. We however have accessible studio spaces, project and studio residencies rooms and an accessible WC.

If you use crutches or a walking stick, you should be able to go everywhere inside however please be aware there are lots of stairs and uneven steps.
