Beginners Cuttings

What will we be doing?

We will be taking simple cuttings to grow at home on a windowsill. Probably mint or something from the sage or salvia family.

What is a cutting?

It’s a way to make a new plant by cutting off a piece of a ‘mother’ plant and putting it into soil. With suitable cuts and conditions you’ll watch a whole new plant grow from this little piece. Magic!

• All materials will be provided 
  Please be aware we will be using secateurs/ scalpels

Who is running the session?

Elisa, a studio member at WIP space. I’m a gardener/ propagation specialist by day and many other things at weekends and night! We look forward to welcoming you into our space, taking some simple cuttings and chatting away.
